I’m back with the latest books that I have read! Here they are and what I thought of them.
A Little Princess– 5/5
I loved this book and would highly recommend it, especially if you’re a parent of young kids! I feel I parent better when I read books like this because it’s from a child’s creative mind point of view. I also recently read The Secret Garden by the same author and loved it as well.
Little House on the Prairie Series– 5/5
My son (he’s 7) and I read this series together and I would definitely recommend them! This is a series that is great for kids and adults.
I have been working my way through the Anne of Green Gables series and I love them! I can’t believe I never read these as a kid. This is another series that is great for kids and adults. I didn’t realize I read so many kid friendly books all at once!
You Got This– 5/5
I read a devotion every day after eating breakfast and this is my most recent one. It was SO good that I am reading it again. These devotions pack a lot of meaning into two small pages, which is perfect for me as a mom trying to get the kids out the door for school in the morning.
The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn– 4/5
This is definitely NOT a book appropriate for kids because it’s a little spicy. I love to reread this book in the Fall because of its classic cozy romance. It’s not the best book in the world but it’s an easy and good read!
The Cinnamon Bun Book Store- 5/5
This is also a spicy book. I would described it as a Hallmark movie but more. I reread this book every Fall because of its cozy autumn romance.
Threshing Day– 5/5
I pre-ordered this book months ago expecting it to be the next book in the Fourth Wing series and then was very disappointed the week before it came out to find it was NOT the fourth book. It is instead a supplementary novel in this series and is classified as book 3.5. I had already ordered it so figured I would read it anyway and it was SO good! I am still eagerly awaiting the fourth novel but am very happy I read this one.
A Season for Falling– 4/5
I found this book in my cute, local little book store when I was picking up Threshing Day and it looked like a perfect Fall read. It was a good story and I’ll definitely read it again next Fall!
