Hey, y’all! I’m switching it up a little this week. Instead of my usual Monday morning post I’ve decided to move it to Tuesday because of the holiday yesterday. Y’all seem to really enjoy my “what to wear this month” series so here’s my style guide for September!
Now that Labor Day is over, Fall is “officially” here. I’ve been loving lavender for Fall lately- have you caught that on Instagram?? lol I’ve layered this light weight lavender cardigan with an easy cami, distressed jeans and booties to give that cozy Fall feel while still staying cool for those remaining warm September days.
Side note: It was actually super humid and 80 degrees when I took these pictures and I was very comfortable walking around in this outfit. Although, you should have seen my hair when I got home- it did NOT like the humidity lol. Up in a ponytail it went! Ok, back to it 🙂
This cardigan is from Gap Factory and I’m in love! It’s light weight, 60% cotton and 40% rayon and has a slub texture. I love adding it to a casual outfit because it’s so easy yet cute. This cardigan does fit big in the sleeves, though- there’s too much space between my arm and sleeve.
This cami is from Loft and it is a staple I can’t live without! The flowy fit and covered buttons make it simple yet elegant. I like to wear a bralette under it for extra coverage.
Are you sick of me wearing these jeans from American Eagle yet?? It’s safe to say they’re one of my favorite pairs! I like that the denim is a bit thicker than my other American Eagle jeans (it makes them feel more expensive). They do fit a bit big in the lower leg- they’re supposed to be a jegging fit but they fit more like a skinny jean. The waist and upper legs fit perfectly, though. Plus, they don’t stretch out!

I love a good peep toe bootie! They keep my feet cool when it’s still warm out but give my outfit more of a Fall feel. I’m going to wear this pair A LOT until the temperature dips!
