
Hey, y’all! The 4th is over but we still have a lot of Summer left to play in! Today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite fitness routines I do- yoga! Fitness is so important to me and a big part of my life. I have my workout routine built into my daily schedule but I also find myself always doing some form of exercise if I have an extra second of spare time, whether it be going for a walk or a quick video. Yoga is one of my favorite forms of exercise because it builds strength and gives a nice stretch throughout your whole body. Another nice thing about yoga is don’t need to go anywhere to do it- you can stay in the comfort of your own home! Although, going to a class is always fun :).



Gwen Lawrence’s Yoga for Fitness is a yoga video series I have been doing for years because it’s that good! Even though I have done this routine for years and can even do it from memory it is still a challenge and is an excellent workout. This video series has three 20 minute workouts- one for your arms, legs (my favorite one!) and abs. You can either play them individually or all three in a roll if you’re super ambitious! I usually do this video twice a week.



If you haven’t done yoga before I would highly suggest trying it out- you will feel amazing after! If I don’t do it for a little while I can definitely feel the difference- I start to feel very stiff and my body gets restless. It wants to stretch out!
