I don’t shop for clothes on Amazon a ton but I was really craving a dress with ric rac accents so I started a search! This dress looked really cute in the pictures and I loved the modest fit of it. Amazon is nice because if I don’t like something it’s no big deal, they have easy returns. I also loved the price point of this dress- $36 but on sale for $29!

I definitely had a swing of emotions when I got this dress. First, I thought the mini stripe in the dress was blue from the photos but it’s actually purple. And then I pulled the dress out to hold it up and thought “wow, this is terrible- I’ll try it on tomorrow.”
I’m very glad I did not return it without trying it on because it looked like a totally different dress when I got it on and I absolutely love it! I’ve had it for a week and have worn it twice now. I’m actually wearing it while I’m writing this! It looks like a much more expensive dress than it actually is.
Quick note- I do wear a skirt slip under it because the fabric is thin, which is great for summer!
