I love being able to style pieces in my wardrobe for multiple seasons. A versatile closet really helps me stay organized while allowing for numerous, simple outfit combinations. It also helps me feel my best and most confident self because the pieces in my wardrobe keep my mornings stylishly simple. This pleated navy dress is a classic piece that makes a great basic in anyone’s closet and can be worn all year round. Here’s how I styled it for Winter and Spring!
WINTER: I styled this dress for extra cold weather by pairing it with a chunky wool sweater, fleece lined tights and cute booties. I loved how the tones of these pieces, while muted, still make an interesting look.
My J.Crew sweater was a vintage find but I found a great Amazon dupe. My dress is also from Amazon and is a great price! My boots are also old from Bloomingdales but I found a couple pairs that are similar here and here.
SPRING: I was excited to style this dress for warmer weather because it really accentuates its classic silhouette. Pairing it with a beautiful, neutral bag and floral heels keeps this look simple and elegant.
While this Amazon dress would be amazing for Easter or church, it can also be dressed down with flats for everyday activities. My Le Tanneur Emilie bag is a high quality bag from France and will last a lifetime, really accentuating a capsule wardrobe. My Ann Taylor heels are old but I found some beautiful styles here and here.
