Barrel jeans are certainly trending right now and, I have to say, I was NOT into it until I tried my first pair! Barrel jeans are surprisingly flattering and comfortable. Here’s how I styled my barrel jeans for the whole year so you can get the most out of your wardrobe.
WINTER: I started with winter because that’s the season I’m currently dressing for. I styled my barrel jeans with a vintage fair isle wool sweater, a cozy cardigan, a leather belt and heeled booties.
My barrel jeans are from Loft and petite sizes are offered. My wool fair isle J.Crew sweater is old but I found a cute and affordable one from Amazon. My Thread & Supply cardigan is also old but I found this one from J.Crew Factory that is very similar. My Steve Madden booties are old as well, but this Marc Fisher pair is a great dupe. Lastly, I’ve had this Coach belt for probably 15 years now and it’s still amazing! I found a really similar Coach one here.
SPRING: On to the next season, which will hopefully be here soon! I styled my barrel jeans with a pretty floral blouse, large flower earrings to coordinate, a neutral braided belt and mules.
I love the dark shade of these Loft barrel jeans but a light shade is also offered. My blouse is from T.J.Maxx but I found some really pretty dupes here, here and here. I found these earrings at a consignment shop a few years ago so I don’t know the brand, but these Lele Sadoughi earrings are so cute and make a great dupe! My Madewell mules are a few years old but I found similar ones here and here. My Amazon belt comes in a 3 pack and is made from leather.
SUMMER: It was so fun to style this season even though the temps are really cold right now. I styled my barrel jeans with a classic sleeveless blouse, a fun belt, a rattan bag and leather sandals.
Another great thing about these Loft barrel jeans I love is the unique seaming at the knees. My Kiel James Patrick blouse is old but I found some great affordable Amazon dupes here and here. My Vineyard Vines belt is about 10 years old but they have a newer version that would make a great basic in anyone’s wardrobe. I found this rattan bag at T.J.Maxx a few years back but this Amazon one is nearly identical. My Sam Edelman sandals are a few years old and they are one of my most worn pairs.
FALL: This season turned out to be my favorite look and could also be worn in Spring. I styled my barrel jeans with a mock neck tank top, houndstooth blazer, cute belt and classic sling back shoes.
I belted these Loft barrel jeans in all of these looks but they’re still very cute unbelted. My Macy’s mock neck top is old but these Amazon styles here and here are really similar. My Ann Taylor blazer is old but these Amazon dupes here and here make affordable options. My belt is from Amazon and comes in a 4 pack. My Steve Madden sling backs are leather and make a great basic for anyone’s wardrobe.
