The cold air has definitely moved in here in Wisconsin and I have had to bring out my winter coats already! Here’s a roundup of my favorite coats for the colder months.
Gap Factory ColdControl Max Midi Puffer Coat
The ColdControl Max Midi Puffer Coat is this year’s version of what I am wearing above. It has a lot of the same great features mine does such as the adjustable waist (great for petites), water resistant outer, and washability (great for moms). I love this bright red for winter- it’s festive for Christmas and brightens up a grey January day! This is a coat I like to wear when it’s in that 20-30 degree range. I’m wearing size XS (for reference, I am 5’0″ and about 95lbs).
The City Coat is probably my most worn coat. I bought mine in 2018 and it’s still perfect! It is a great coat for work because it’s so sleek and professional but it also looks great dressed down with jeans. I wear this coat in any temperature for work because of the styling; worn casually it’s a 20-30 degree range coat. Petite sizes are offered in this coat so everyone can have their perfect fit! I have the Heather Acorn tan but it also comes in a lot of other great colors! I have this coat in size 0P because I wanted more room for blazers and sweaters underneath, but could definitely have bought my regular size of 00P.
The Teddy Lined Parka probably ties with the City Coat as my most worn coat! It’s a very flattering style for a lot of different body types and is super warm and cozy. I bought mine in 2018 and this is the coat I always wear when the temperatures get really cold. This is a 20 degree and below coat. It has an adjustable waist (great for petites), is washable (great for moms), and covers your butt so you stay extra warm. I don’t think I have ever been cold in this coat! I have this coat in Grey and wear size XS.
I have had a few Hollister coats and am very impressed by their quality. The Puffer Jacket is my usual go to for more utilitarian activities such as shoveling because the shorter length helps keep me cool while I’m being active. Like the Teddy Parka, this coat is super warm and I have never been cold wearing it; this is a 20 degree and below coat. I have it in Black and wear size XS.
