Hey guys- happy Friday! I hope you all have had a great week so far! Today I want to share with you something I have been searching and searching for to no avail- wide legs jeans for petites! I can’t tell you how many pairs of jeans I have bought and returned because I can’t find the right fit- but I finally found a pair! Keep reading for sizing and details on these petite & mom friendly jeans.
These jeans are from H&M and are the Wide Leg Ankle Jeans. I was hoping that because they’re supposed to be a cropped length on a normal height person that they would be a good regular length on me, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was correct! These jeans hit me just below my ankle and do not require any hemming. For reference, I am 5’0″ tall.
The waist also fits really well! I’m wearing size 0 (these jeans are available in size 0-18) which is a touch big on me because I’m normally a 00 but I don’t mind it being a tad loose because I will be tucking sweaters into these jeans (for reference, I weigh 90lbs). The overall fit on these wide legs jeans is also perfect- fitted in the waist, butt and hips with a flair after that. Plus, they’re super comfortable! Great for chasing the kiddos around.
The quality on these jeans is also really good, especially considering they came from H&M and are less than $35! They’re made out of a thick denim which feels very structured, secure and won’t lose their shape. I also love that these are cream and not white- it’s nice to have this color for Fall because it’s not so stark.
