Hey guys- happy Friday! Today I want to share with you all Summer dresses I have been wearing on repeat this season! All of these are light and airy and, of course, petite and mom friendly!
First up is this adorable swing dress from Amazon! I know, most people would say that can’t wear white around the kids but you certainly can! I bought this dress last Summer and usually wear it once a week. I wore it last Summer when CJ was around 9 months old and am still wearing it now that he’s 21 months old! If I can do it so can you! It’s washable so if it gets dirty just throw it in the wash- super easy! I’ve washed this dress countless times and it always looks good as new.
This dress is also very petite friendly hitting me just above the knee. For reference, I’m 5’0″, 90lbs and am wearing size XS. This dress is fully lined, has a side zipper and is very comfortable with it’s loose fit. I have also, in the past, added a belt to give it a more defined shape but currently don’t because I’m enjoying the airy fit in the heat.
My second go-to dress this Summer is the A New Day Elbow Sleeve Eyelet Dress! I actually got this dress recently and was expecting to return it but fell in love the moment I put it on. I have worn this dress every week since getting it, which I’m sure you’ve noticed if you follow my Instagram account! These sleeves are currently an obsession right now!
The length of this dress is very mom friendly, hitting me just below the knee. I also love that it has a rounded neck- nothing it slipping out of this dress! It is machine washable so it’s easy to care for.
This dress is also petite friendly! I’m wearing size XS and like to break up the purple with a skinny, neutral belt. This dress is fully lined, except in the sleeves. I did a full blog post here about this dress a few weeks back if you would like to read the whole review!
My third go-to dress this Summer is the A New Day Long Sleeve Tiered Dress! I have been grabbing this dress since Spring and any time it’s not too hot of a Summer day! The length of this dress is perfect for moms because you’re very covered. I’ve climbed jungle gyms and have gone down slides in this dress with no worries! The V-neck is a little low for my taste so I always pair it with a lace bralette for extra coverage. This dress is also machine washable! I’ve washed it quite a bit and it has held up really well.
This dress is also petite friendly, hitting me just above the ankles. It’s technically a midi length dress but is a perfect maxi on me (which I anticipated when I bought it). I like to add a skinny, neutral belt to this dress to give it a more defined waist. This dress is fully lined, except the sleeves.
My fourth go-to dress this Summer is the CeCe Ruffle Knit Dress! The length of this dress is very mom friendly, hitting below the knee. The rounded neckline is also great for moms because you stay covered no matter what you’re doing. The knit fabric of this dress is also very comfortable for moms because it moves and stretches with you! This is also a dress that can be thrown in the wash and is very easy to care for.
And, of course, this dress is petite friendly! I’m wearing size XS and it hits me between my knees and ankles. This dress is supposed to hit just below the knee but I knew it was going to be longer on me, which I prefer! I like to define the waist and break up the pink with a skinny, neutral belt.
