It’s a new week, y’all! Let’s make it a good one, what do you say?! This is no ordinary week for me- it’s the last week at my current job (life update alert)! While I’m excited for the new career I’m pursuing, I’m also sadden to be leaving the good friends I have made over the past 6 years. They have become something like a family to me and I know the week is going to get more difficult as it comes to an end. Love you guys!

I posted this outfit on Instagram recently and y’all seemed to love it so I wanted to dive deeper into what I’m wearing! This simple look makes for an excellent Summer to Fall transition outfit. Wisconsin has had a few cooler days recently but, overall, it’s still pretty warm (September also tends to be warm) so an outfit that brings in that Fall vibe I’m craving but won’t be too hot is very important.

The Dress
This dress from Abercrombie is lightweight and loose which makes it very breathable for when it’s still warm and the black adds the darker Fall tones into my wardrobe. Plus, it’s so comfortable that when I do wear it I end up wearing it lounging around the house when I get home! You can find a similar dress here.
The Scarf
This blanket scarf from Modcloth adds that touch of Fall into my outfit without making me too warm. The earthy tones pair nicely with the black dress- simple and easy pieces are what I’m into right now! Have you noticed that lately 😉 You can find a similar scarf here (add it’s less than $25)!

The Booties
These booties by Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn work so well with a Summer to Fall transition outfit because of the side cutouts. I don’t wear socks with them and air can get through so your feet don’t get too warm! You can find a similar pair from American Eagle here.
The Clutch
I’m sure y’all have noticed but I LOVE adding leopard details to my outfits, whether it be with shoes or a small clutch like this one. I’ve had this Coach clutch for years and years and it’s still in perfect condition- point to you for quality, Coach! I’ve linked a similar clutch from them here.

This outfit, in my opinion me, would work best in the 50-70 degrees range. If it gets under 50 you can add a cute anorak jacket to keep you warm!
That’s it for now! Are y’all craving Fall as much as I am?? Comment below, I would love to hear about your transition outfits you’re wearing right now! I hope y’all have a great week!
xoxo Caitlin
