Hey, y’all! A gingham button up with a pair of white jeans is a timeless look which is why I keep wearing this combo over and over again! I’m particularly in love with the navy/white combo right now- it’s very preppy Americana which is perfect for July! See below to learn more about each piece in this outfit!
The Shirt- If you look in my closet you may think I have an infinite number of J.Crew button up shirts (I swear, I really don’t) but they’re so great I can’t stop buying them! Here I’m wearing the navy check Classic Button-Down Shirt in Boy Fit. You can combine this shirt with a pair of jeans, like I did here for a more casual look, or you can also incorporate it into your work wardrobe! Try pairing this shirt with a navy pencil skirt for a professional and cute outfit for the office. I’m wearing petite XS and it fits true to size. Keep in mind this is not a fitted button-down shirt but a boy fit which means it is more relaxed.
The Jeans- A pair of white skinny jeans are a must have in my book and American Eagle is the place I shop for them! The price and quality are great plus they offer extended sizes like the 00 short that I buy (fits true to size). I’m wearing the Denim X High Waisted Jegging here, which is sold out, but the same pair except in a different rise can be found here.
The Shoes- I fell in love with these navy suede Kelly and Katie heels the moment I saw them! They are a classic shoe that can go with so many different things. I wear them with casual outfits and to work! Plus, they are very comfortable, don’t rub your feet and have a cushioned sole. I can wear these all day without any issues!
The Bag- I love a good envelope bag and couldn’t resist one studded with pearls! Unfortunately, this exact bag recently sold out but you can find a good dupe from Francesca’s here.
