Hey, y’all! Spring is officially here and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s the perfect time of year to put away all the winter decorations and fill the house with flowers! Bringing flowers into the home instantly makes the atmosphere light and airy.
I love fresh flowers- they smell great and you really can’t beat the real thing BUT… they can’t last forever. For decorating purposes I prefer to use fake flowers- they always look great and I can use them for seasons to come!

A quick and pretty way to make a Spring decoration that is sure to brighten up your home is to put a few fake flowers in a basket! You can use a basket you already have at home (I have plenty in stock- I have a slight basket obsession…), find one at a local craft store such as Michael’s, or you can even go to Goodwill and see if there are any you like- Goodwill always has plenty of baskets to choose from!
I had this beautiful light blue basket from my grandma and decided to stick with the blue theme. I bought two different shades of blue flowers and some white flowers and went to town! I cut each stem from the main one to allow a better mixture between the colors. Play with it until you are happy- you can’t mess up and you arrangement will surely look great in any room of your house!

That’s it for now, y’all! What decorations do you bring into your home for Spring?! Leave a comment below- I would love to hear your thoughts!
P.S. My blouse is from LOFT- you can find a similar one here. My jeans are from American Eagle and can be found here. Lastly, follow this link to get the details on my watch and enter for a chance to win $100 for your own one!

So pretty! I love fake flowers – they look great and require no maintenance (except maybe a dusting now and then lol!) 🙂
