Hi, y’all! Today I hosted my amazing sister’s baby shower and it was perfect! I could not have asked for anything to have gone better. Although everything went very well, I definitely need some pampering after all that work! I like to make some time for myself every once in a while to relax and decompress. It’s so easy to get sucked into working extra hours, working around the house and overall filling your day up with so much stuff that you forget to take a moment for yourself!

One way I like to relax is by giving myself a manicure and pedicure once a week. I pick out one of my favorite nail polishes, turn on some Netflix and sit on my bathroom counter and have at it! One special product I like to use between taking my old nail polish off and putting the new stuff on is moisturizing my hands and feet with Mary Kay’s White Tea & Citrus Satin Hands Nourishing Shea Cream. This stuff is absolutely amazing! It smells great, is very moisturizing and makes your hands look beautiful. You can find this hand cream here. Mary Kay also offers this hand cream without fragrance- found here– if you don’t like scented products.
A special note about Mary Kay- you have to buy through a beauty consultant. Mary Kay has a great “find an independent beauty consultant” feature if you do not know anyone, which is quick and easy. After you find a consultant you can continue with your purchase just like you would if you were shopping on any standard website. I personally use Samantha LeGath- you can find her profile page here.

That’s it for this week! I hope y’all take a few moments to pamper yourself this week and remember to fit that into your busy schedules! What do y’all like to do when you do get a moment to relax?!
P.S.- Personal note…I only use OPI’s top coat on my finger nails because I am so rough on my hands that the polish chips off almost instantly. The clear coat always looks good- it gives my nails a nice sheen and makes them look healthy. But I ALWAYS have color polish on my toe nails- even when it’s the middle of winter and no one will see my feet. I just love having them painted- it’s a special treat for me to know they always look nice. Bye for now!
