Preppy Pink for Mother’s Day

Hi, y’all!  Today is Mother’s Day and I had a wonderful day spending quality time with my husband’s family.  My husband’s sisters, along with their husbands and all the nieces and nephews, came to visit my husband’s parents today and we all had a cookout on this beautiful Wisconsin day!

The family all went to church this morning so I wore my pink and white check Vineyard Vines button down shirt and my Lauren James pink and white seersucker stripe scallop hem skirt.  I LOVE the combination of these two pieces together- the pinks are a perfect match, I love the mix of the check and stripe, and I love that it’s all pink!  The additions of my sparkle belt, pearl cluster necklace, pearl earrings, hair bow and lace flats simply make this a perfect, preppy outfit that I can’t get enough of!  My shirt is currently unavailable in this color combination but you can find a similar one here– the blue in this shirt would be a cute addition to this outfit!  You can find my skirt here.
