Rainy Days Ahead- Chapter 2

Hi, y’all! Good thing I bought these new rain boots because it has been raining for days here in Wisconsin. But hey, you know what they say- April showers bring May flowers! We certainly better get a lot of flowers in May because it has been raining A LOT!

I have been wearing these Lauren James rain boots almost every day because of all the rain and that’s alright with me because I absolutely love them! Every single time I wear them people give me compliments- and who doesn’t like compliments! I think it is great that they are a traditional Spring color (and also my favorite color) and that they have a few details on them that make them a little extra special, like the cute logo on the front, the pink and white stripe seersucker lining and the adorable seersucker back bows. Today I went with a pink and white color combination, which is one of my favorites. I also wanted something that was warm and comfortable while I ran errands in the chilly wind and rain. I chose to wear my pale pink Gilly Hicks by Hollister sweater (a similar one can be found here) and my white American Eagle jeggings (a similar pair can be found here– I am wearing last year’s style) with my pink Lauren James rain boots. I love this Gilly Hicks sweater- it is warm and very soft. I wear it all the time! My white American Eagle jeggings are a closet staple for me- they are a great basic that I also wear over and over again.
