Rainy Days Ahead- Chapter One

Hi, y’all!  Spring is here and we all know what that means- lots and lots of rain!  My favorite Spring rain boots finally gave out after 6ish years which was a sad day (they were a pastel pink floral print)… but on the other hand that meant I was able to get a new pair!  After days of searching stores and online I finally decided on the Lauren James rain boots!

I love Lauren James for many reasons and one of those reasons is the excellent packaging they use when you place an order with them- it is very thought out, put together really well and makes you feel like you ordered something really special.

Lauren James always uses boxes with their logo on it and they always add in special little things to your order- you never know what you will get which is a fun surprise and who doesn’t like extra presents?!

My extra little presents with this order were a Lauren James catalog (adorable stuff- I want it all!), a hair tie with one of the Lauren James mottos “your day just got better,” a koozie with that same motto, an LJ monogram sticker and a sample of their Magnolia scented wood wick candle with a 15% off coupon for a candle purchase found here.  This candle smells so amazing- I remember seeing this on their website and being unsure about buying one because I didn’t know if I would like the smell but I sure am going to buy one now!

And now the best part of my package… the boots, of course!  Adorable, comfortable and I always get a lot of compliments when I wear them.  I love that these boots are simple but they have a few extra details that make them special.  For example, the front of the boot is taller than the back which is a cute cut that most rain boots do not have, the logo on the front is simple and not too overbearing, the seersucker bow on the back is adorable and they are lined with that same seersucker which is a special detail just for you!  You can find these boots here.

P.S.- My cat is obviously obsessed with this box (and all boxes for that matter).  My husband got his new Stetson cowboy boots the same day so my cat was in box heaven!
