Hi, y’all! I am happy to announce that I FINALLY have completed the gallery wall in my bedroom! It took months and months but am very happy with how it turned out.

This is the “before” picture. First, I visualized generally how I wanted my gallery wall to be laid out and I measured how big I wanted it to be. I then grabbed a few things I knew I wanted on my gallery wall and laid them out on the floor within the dimensions that I had measured during my planning. Next, I cut out shapes from paper to help fill in my gallery wall and make it look cohesive. Lastly, I hung everything up and started shopping!

This is my “after” picture! I made sure to incorporate things that have sentimental value and things I genuinely love and make me happy; adorning my walls with sentimental objects and things that bring me joy when I look at them is very important to me, especially because it is my bedroom where I want to feel relaxed.
My gallery wall may have taken a while to complete but I love taking my time with projects like this because there is a special story behind it then- everything has that sentimental touch I am looking for.

The large, mirrored frame is from Target- it holds an 8″x10″ photo and has a bright white mat to surround your picture. I bought this frame years ago and they still have it! You can find it here. When I saw it I instantly fell in love and knew I had to have it. I printed out an anniversary picture of me and my husband for this frame.
The gazelle heads are also from Target- you can find them here. I liked the uniqueness of the pieces while their white and gold finish is very clean and simple. I found mine on clearance in store – maybe you can find them on clearance as well!
The clock is from Target, too- you can find a similar one here. I thought the stone finish was very pretty and would be a nice addition to my gallery wall. I also got this on clearance – bonus for me!
I knew I wanted an arrow in my gallery wall when I started. One day, when I was at work, my wonderful husband grabbed the paper arrow I had on the wall and made a beautiful wooden arrow! He did an amazing job and I love it. Now every time I look at it it holds that sentimental feeling that I wanted with my gallery wall!
The mirrored “K” is from T.J.Maxx – I found it a few months ago on clearance and knew it would accent my mirrored frame perfectly. The “K” adds a nice, personal touch.
Another sentimental addition to my gallery wall is a framed wedding invitation from my wedding. The frame and decorative paper I placed around the invitation were things I already had which made this a free project for me to accomplish!
The decorative cross also adds a sentimental touch to my gallery wall. It was a gift from my pastor after I was confirmed. It is a beautiful cross and I am lucky it matches my style so well!
Lastly, I had another anniversary picture from a different year mounted on an 8″x10″ wood block at Walmart. It was very inexpensive and I was able to place the order online and pick up in store that same night – quick and easy!

Now, I have one question for y’all! The rocking chair in my bedroom belonged to my husband’s great grandmother – I love that is it a family heirloom and that we were entrusted to care for it. Someone along the way painted it an off white color that is starting to wear and needs to be redone. My top color choices I was thinking of painting it are bright white (to match my trim), grey to match the grey accents I have throughout the room, or should I go bold and paint it purple to match purple accents I have around the room?! I will paint it whichever gets the most positive response- I’m excited to hear what y’all have to say!
Great gallery wall!
